Did you know that according to an old folk rhyme, WEDNESDAY is the best day to get hitched? I stumbled upon this titbit of information when I was planning my own wedding earlier this year. I was HUGELY surprised, knowing that Saturday’s have long been acknowledged as the most popular choice to tie the knot!
When I was completing my Celebrant course, it was a no brainer to me to name my brand after this! Keep reading to see all the reasons why I think Wednesday’s are the best day..

Erm, no! I will be your love lady any day of the week you like! Although, full disclosure, I will always have a soft spot for Wednesdays, as it was the day of the week that I married my own soulmate <3
Here are 5 reason’s why Wednesdays ROCK for your big day!
Your preferred vendors are most likely to be available for a midweek wedding- Fridays and Saturdays book up the fastest, with couples booking a year or two in advance
Not only that- they will be well rested, most vendors take Monday/Tuesday as days off during wedding season as their weekends are jam packed!
Your venue is more likely to be available too, even at short notice. You may even get a discount, many wedding venues have midweek deals
Your guests will be grateful for the excuse to take a weekday (or two, or three!) off work, especially in summer, when they are likely to have more things happening socially on their weekends
Wednesday Weddings are a break to tradition, and I love working with couples who want to blow away some of the old wedding ‘rules’!
